The seeds of Mama Loux have been planted and nourished over several decades in a journey through food, plants, and allies and medicines of the natural world.
I have been following scent as long as I can remember. Scent has been my muse through decades of exploration and discovery as a plant-based chef and founder-formulator of natural skin care and hair care products. As someone who revels in the intersection of science and spirit, working with tree resins and the aromatic arts is a remarkable and sensorial extension and culmination of 30 years of exploration and discovery.
Working with tree resins, in what feels like a role as an ambassador to their remarkable capacities, is a privilege and responsibility. Understanding what tree resins offer is the work of a life time.
